COVID-19 Information

During these stressful times, we want to reassure you that the health and safety of our patients, our staff, and our greater community are our number one priority. Recommendations related to COVID-19 are very fluid and have been changing frequently. However, based on the latest guidance from the CDC and the Vermont Department of Health, we are pleased to announce that our office is open and once again seeing all patients with eye care needs, including patients who are due for their routine visits.

Scheduled Appointments

Please remember to wear a face-covering when you enter the building.  Drivers are welcome at this time but most also wear a face covering.

At New England Vision and Vermont Eye Laser, please rest assured that we are taking every possible precaution to keep you safe.  These measures include:

  • Using physical barriers at the front desk to limit face-to-face interactions.
  • Limiting time spent in the waiting room to minimize exposure to communal spaces and facilitate social distancing when possible.
  • Requiring all patients to use face coverings regardless of vaccination status.
  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces and equipment before and after every patient encounter.
  • Following all other CDC guidelines including having the staff frequently wash their hands and fastidiously avoid touching their own eyes/nose/mouth. Wearing face coverings and be fully vaccinated.
  • VT Dept. of Health guidelines change constantly but can be viewed at healthvermont.gov/covid-19.
  • If you have any signs symptoms or been in contact with someone with COVID please call our office to reschedule your appointment.

We appreciate your cooperation during these trying times.
