Juli Larson, M.D.
Dr. Juli Larson is a graduate of North Park University in Chicago and the University of Illinois Medical School. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Larson completed an internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois where she received the “Most Outstanding Intern of the Year Award”. She completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Larson is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a licensed physician and surgeon in the states of Vermont, Illinois, Florida and New Hampshire. She also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Vermont. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Vermont Medical Society, the Vermont Ophthalmological Society, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, VISX Fellowship Program, and is a Certified LASIK Surgeon for Laser Vision Centers, Inc.
Dr. Larson has had extensive training in laser vision correction. Her primary training was conducted with an internationally recognized surgeon who has performed nearly 10,000 procedures, authored numerous articles and designed several LASIK devices. The value of performing procedures under the supervision of an experienced expert for an extended period of time is priceless, and the results speak for themselves. Since opening, nearly ten thousand procedures have been performed successfully in our state of the art laser center. In addition, Dr. Larson has trained at the world-renowned Hale Eye Institute (formerly Arizona Eye Insititute) where the first LASIK procedure in North America was per-formed. Dr. Larson continues to attend advanced courses in new and upcoming tech-niques and procedures.
Dr. Larson’s affiliation with Laser Vision Centers, Inc. also provides her direct access to their medical advisory board, which is made up of the most respected surgeons in Laser Vision Correction.
